As a baby, Laurelyn liked to sit in front of the mirror and watch herself cry and laugh. As she got a little older, she started singing and acting in her very own made-up plays. That flair for drama and performance has grown along with her.
Now she is in the Eighth Grade and is performing at events all over the south to promote her new 12-song CD "In This Life". She is also very involved in her church activities and is active at school with cheerleading and annual staff.
Singing the National Anthem is also one of her favorite things to do and she has performed it at a variety of community and sporting events including a basketball game at Middle Tennessee State University and a softball game at the University of Alabama.
Although born and raised in the South, Laurelyn has had multicultural influences in her life through her grandparents who are former International Missionaries through the International Mission Board and also hosted many foregin exchange students while Laurelyn was a child.
