Woden Thoth is obviously my pseudonym, which I adopted because my real name is shared with at least 500 individuals all over the English-speaking world, including some who are also musicians. I have been composing and playing instruments since I was about 12 or so. Previous efforts were with Plutokinesis, der Zerklang, Roasted Cat, Electric Tiger, Frappe Dreamgate. My influences also include Gong, Black Sabbath, Sparks, Kraftwerk, Einstuerzende Neubauten, Laibach and many others too numerous to list here. I started out playing bass guitar and guitar (only electric) and lately have been focusing on electric mandolin. I generally specialize in attempting to find that space that I haven't heard anyone else do and love to experiment. Thanks to all who've encouraged me of late, especially Mr. Photon. Enjoy... |
