I was a late bloomer musically. Music was my escape during my akward years in high school and was my way of attempting to get the girls. I played in bands here and there and worked in recording studios on the side. I learned studio production from some very talented people (thanks Eddie). At the age of 30 I moved to Austin Texas where I was lucky enough to taste just enough of the music business that I now want to steer clear of "the biz". Even though I had some great experiences, overall it was a horrible flop. I signed a management and publishing deal that tied me up for a long time and I ended up not playing or writing much for 7 years. I moved to Vermont in 1999 and have been inspired here. I have been writing and producing in my home studio. The Internet has been a great way to get exposure for my music. I have been on National Public Radio's "All Songs Considered" and am getting lots of airplay on Internet streams like "Radio Paradise", "Song Planet" as well as some great podcast exposure. Thanks to all of you who are helping to spread my music.
