Barry Easton - Drums, Walter Albert - Bass & Vocals, Mark Easton - Guitars & Vocals
biography
"The Easton Brothers Band features Barry Easton on drums and vocals, Walter Albert on bass and vocals, and Mark Easton on guitar and vocals. Walter joined the original Easton Brothers Band in 1993. He took a leave of absence to attend school, and re-joined the band in early 2003. They record and perform many different styles, all melded together to produce some of the most refreshing Rock Music in recent times. Using everything and anything, from Beatle-esq harmonies, tight arrangements, and RAW POWER, mixed with great lyrics, to Blues, Folk, Country, R & B, and good old fashioned Rock & Roll, the Eastons are a tour de force! Guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Mark Easton, remains a much sought after "gun for hire," having performed and recorded with many New England bands and solo artists. His writing and producing skills are always in demand, but it is his expertise as a guitarist who can handle almost any style of music that keeps him a viable force in today's music scene. With almost 40 years of professional performing and recording experience, he shows NO signs of slowing down, and swears "I'll probably die onstage with my guitar in my hands!" The Easton Brothers, Mark and Barry, have been playing together since childhood. Among the highlights are their being proud original members of Avalanche, opening for such acts as ACDC, Pat Travers, the Chambers Brothers, and blues master Muddy Waters. After a long hiatus, they're back recording with Michael Foster, and producing the first new Avalanche music in over twenty years. When not performing with the Easton Brothers Band or Avalanche, Mark Easton tours with internationally known Blues artists Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze, as well as running Roughcut Studio, the Easton's personal facility with brother Barry and Walter Albert, where the new Avalanche, and the Easton Brothers material was recorded. Mark has also had the pleasure to record and produce other artists, including his very good friend and fellow Indiehitz artist, Jimi Pocius. Their new CD, Led Foot Floyd, is now ready, and available by visiting their web site at: www.eastonbrothers.com, and e-mailing one of the addresses at the bottom of their welcome page. Also available are their 1994 release, Wait For The Medicine Man, and their 2001 release, Highway Hallucinations Part 2. They have posted songs from all three CDs. The band hopes you continue to enjoy them. "I would like to give special thanks to Terry, Nancy, and all the great DJs/VJs who continue to play our tunes and support all the fine artists here at Indiehitz. Thank you very much! Thanks also to all our fans everywhere, old and new. Without you all, well, what would be the point? Thanks!" Mark Easton"
